Biography

Josh Mayes is the Crane Technical Manager as well as a Senior Crane Inspector at Kent Crane. His wealth of knowledge in all types of cranes and equipment coupled with his attention to detail delivers a high-quality service that clients can be confident in. Before becoming a crane inspector, Josh was a Mobile Crane Operator. With over 5 years of work in the field of operating before transitioning to inspection he developed an advanced understanding of safe operating procedures, attention to detail, and real-world application.

Josh is certified to inspect various types of cranes, lift equipment, heavy machinery, and man/material lifts. His universal experience includes the implementation of Federal OSHA standards as well as Washington State Maritime and Construction standards. He is dedicated to provide Kent Crane Inspection & Engineering as well as the industry with a bulletproof product that instills confidence. Josh’s extensive knowledge and expertise across a broad spectrum of equipment gives clients the peace of mind that their equipment is safe and code compliant. 

Josh’s 7 years served with the United States Special Operations Command as an Army Ranger has helped develop a sense of pride and accountability to the surrounding community.
