Experts and Associates
Michael is a welding engineer and project manager, receiving his Bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University and completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington. He is a certified welding engineer (CWEng), certified welding inspector (CWI) and an ASNT Level II Visual Inspector. He is also a certified Solidworks Professional.
Founder and principal of Kent Engineering, Randy Kent is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 37 years of experience in failure analysis and mechanical engineering forensics. His expertise has been sought in developing the industry-standard ASM Handbook series, International Fatigue Congress publications, with over 100 depositions, trials, and arbitrations to his name.
Cody Hoover has over 18 years of DoD nuclear field experience. He holds a BS in Nuclear Engineering. As a U.S Navy veteran, he also has several training and certifications surrounding naval leadership and naval nuclear training. He also boasts an EPA Universal Technician Certification which allows Cody to work with both small and large appliances such as motor vehicle air conditioner (MVAC) and HVAC appliances.
