Biography
James N. Reinhardt is the principal architect of Architectural Diagnostics. He has been active in construction defect investigation since the early ‘80’s and focused on problems relating to building codes and construction standards, EIFS problems, CC&R disputes and roof problems.
Mr. Reinhardt taught Construction Methods and Materials at the University of Hawaii College of Architecture for 12 years. He has written extensively about waterproofing, materials deterioration and termite protection and has appeared as a faculty member of many continuing education seminars.
Mr. Reinhardt received a BA from Dartmouth College and a B. Arch from the University of Washington. Mr. Reinhardt is licensed in Hawaii, Washington and Colorado. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, where he was its Hawaii president in 1980, the Construction Specifications Institute, the International Code Council and the American Society for Testing Materials, and the Rotary Club of Metropolitan Honolulu.
